[Minato's instinct to take Shinjiro to the less crowded place is right on the money. It's kind of impressive, really, considering they've known each other for barely a month, but that's perhaps why he was made leader. The kid's got an uncanny way of seeing through people's bullshit. Hell, he'd even found himself telling the younger teen some of the truth behind what was going on with him, which he'd hidden from his best friend of fourteen years. It'd make him more uncomfortable if he weren't keenly aware how fast his time is running out.
The music player starting to glow draws him out of those thoughts, though, and he eyes it with interest even as the Pixie comes out and eases at least some of his pain, settling down his breathing a little.]
