so demon hot dog guy ain't exactly a longterm solution to our food problems
whatever we can scrounge up in the houses aside from the greenhouse plants is probably gonna be it for awhile
for whatever it's worth i got some experience making do on little, if you want you can bring me what you got and i'll show you something you can cook with it

also don't be stupid and try any plants that ain't on m's guide
get sick on some reckless risk to prove how cool you are and you're as good as dead without any real medicine or supplies

For fencing. Wouldn't stop a demon if it decides to trample the fields, but it doesn't seem like something they go out of their way to do. Destroying buildings and fences and stuff unless there's people present.

[ The Shadows they're familiar with didn't level the city and everybody in it when they had all the opportunity to do so during the Dark Hour where nobody was even conscious to stop them. So if they build fences around small garden plots, the demons would probably? maybe?? respect that??? unless they turn out to be truly evil and just like stomping little seedlings flat for fun ]
