day 2
so demon hot dog guy ain't exactly a longterm solution to our food problems
whatever we can scrounge up in the houses aside from the greenhouse plants is probably gonna be it for awhile
for whatever it's worth i got some experience making do on little, if you want you can bring me what you got and i'll show you something you can cook with it
[look at that, a whole entire proactive reaching out to their little community of the stranded. there's his spoon budget for the whole week. ahem.]
also don't be stupid and try any plants that ain't on m's guide
get sick on some reckless risk to prove how cool you are and you're as good as dead without any real medicine or supplies

[May that be growing their own stuff or harvesting.]
But I also agree that trying anything without a means to cure ailments is reckless. I don't have access to it anymore, but I used to be able to heal others if needed... If I can somehow tap into that magick again, I think it would help a lot. But we should practice caution until then.
I know a little bit of cooking myself, but I wouldn't mind pointers if you have any.

[He's got somewhere else to die tyvm!!!]
some of the demons around here can heal apparently but i sure as hell wouldn't recommend playing the odds on how bad you can poison yourself before it's unfixable
and like i said, show me what you got and we'll go from there

I wouldn't try it without a reliable fix.
[Sorry, the demons here are probably fine, but she sure as hell doesn't trust them yet.]
I wouldn't mind cooking for you someday to gauge that if you want.

can't say i exactly got a brimming social calendar out here so it's up to you

It's not like there's much to do here after all. What ingredients would we have available to work with anyway?
no subject
far as i can tell mostly just the greenhouse plants for stuff we can be pretty confident is safe
if anyone's found bread or flour that's still good and not moldy that'll be helpful
obviously anything like milk, eggs, or cheese we find ain't worth the risk
no animals to hunt, either
so we're probably gonna be havin a lot of soup
no subject
Well, at the very least soup is generally easy to make. We make due with what we have, I suppose. And you can generally make large batches of soup to feed more people. Has anyone found good kitchen wear? I would assume stuff like that wouldn't be as difficult to find.

i ain't looked but there's probably some in the houses
only real question is how to disinfect that shit or starving's gonna be the least of our problems
especially if people were dyin of some kind of mass plague before we got here
no subject
There are likely ways to craft a disinfectant for it. None that I'm specifically privy to, but there have to be alternatives. That, or we make some.
[Alchemy is not her strong suit, sorry, Shinji.]

i was thinking more passing em through a flame or something but i'm not sure if that's enough
[possibly he should have paid more attention in school? eh.]

trouble is i don't know if most people are even worried about it? people are way too ready to eat demon hot dogs already

[Something she went through in her youth as she just tried to get by.]

it'll feel worth the risk when you're starving
which is a big problem for us honestly
