Hello!

If you haven't met me yet, I'm Calia.

This might come as something of an odd question but are there any bodies of water or anything of the sort available for swimming? Maybe?

I've been missing my home and just getting the chance to swim again would be quite nice.

I'd go and look for that on my own but I don't think it's wise for me to head out on my own, given my situation.

There's a well in the greenhouse. Dunno how far down you'd have to go to get water, though.
If that doesn't work, maybe we can dig a pool.

There's shovels in the greenhouse.

[ They'll just. you know. dig a large hole?? transport water there from somewhere? they can make this happen. ]

I think swimming is fun too. Did you have a large pool back home? Live near the beach?

Nope. I used to live in the ocean, actually.

A shovel is like a really big spoon. If you're near the greenhouse, I can meet you there and show you.

Something like Atlantis?

OH. I'm not too far from the greenhouse. Please. I would like to see it.

Atlantis? Nobody's touched that in thousands of years.

Atlantis has been long abandoned. Rarely anyone speaks of it.

What's your home like?

Lively! I suppose that comes naturally when it's an underwater city, but the people there are really nice.

The water's really comfortable to swim in and there's little you can't find. If you can't find something, you can order something from another ocean to have it delivered.

Anysia is nice too! Though I didn't spend a lot of time there before I woke up here. I'm still getting used to being around humans and what a lot of the things actually mean.

I'm still getting used to being around humans too. Been around plenty of cities, though. You can always ask me if you need help identifying stuff.

It was. I really miss it.

I see the greenhouse.

[ Sure enough, she arrives shortly after and will actively look for him in case he'd gotten there before her or anything like that. ]

[ He's there. The greenhouse isn't a very large place, but he waits by the front door anyways so she doesn't need to search too hard for him amongst all the greenery. ]

Calia. Here.

[ Minato holds out, with both hands, the fabled Shovel just as promised ]

[ There's barely even a few seconds after he speaks that she started to head over towards him, gaze landing on the shovel with her eyes going quite big.

Calia hurried over so quickly she nearly tripped over her own feet, practically seeming to sparkle with awe as she began inspecting the shovel. It was such an unusual shape and she'd never really seen anything like this before, though a part of it was made of metal like the anchors that sat on the sea floor.

She even leant in and knocked lightly against the metal part, pleased at the noise it made. While it was mundane to everyone else? This was quite fascinating to her. ]

[ ...it's impossible not to smile at that, the curiosity and wonderment that people too often lose, too early. Minato taps on the metal too- near the tip, closer to the base, places in between- it's not exactly music, but the different sounds have a charm of their own, coming together like then random notes of a windchime.

Maybe he should get Jack Frost a shovel. ]

It's kinda heavy, but why don't you hold onto it for now? We can check the well first.

[ No need to dirty the shovel, that's plan B ]

[ The almost melodic sounds it made were MORE than satisfactory to her and she couldn't help but make mental notes, and it was clear that if she could speak? She would have been humming along absently to a tune she'd made up to go along with the notes.

For now, Calia just nodded and reached out to carefully take it in both hands. As he had stated, it was a bit heavy but nothing she couldn't handle for the time being. The look on her face was clear.
