Day 2 | Evening
Hey guys, my name is Rin. Your local assassin, or hunter if you want to be nice.
I was trying to find some wildlife here, so I could maybe cook for everyone that needed/wanted food, but... No signs of any wildlife. Although I ran into some demons that might look a bit tasty.
Has anyone tried eating these demons??

[Armin feels sick.]
Hello, Rin. My name is Armin.
That's not too far of a leap, I suppose. We've already been reduced to hunting each other, in ways. Some believe we have to continue slaughtering demons in order to progress the game.
That being said, there are consequences to devouring things that aren't meant to be devoured. Any number of things could happen.
I can't pretend to know much about these demons, but even so. I wouldn't advise it unless absolutely necessary.

But I guess you're right. I might get hexed or something, seeing the demons that are prowling the area. But couldn't help but be a bit curious, you know? My katana is pretty sharp so I guess I was itching to use it in some weird way.
[please don't mind her hunter brain.]
but thanks for the warning. i'll probably lay off on eating them.

Without those hot dogs, this hunger is maddening. Do you have something to eat, though, at least? I and some others have been gathering food from the houses to stockpile at the church. Please take anything you need, so long as there's some left for everyone else.
[But, hey. He's not her Commander. If she takes more than she's owed, he still has food to feed himself and those he's begun to consider his own. That's...all he can really afford to care about right now.]
no subject
I appreciate it. I'll have a look see, but I won't take too much. I want to add to the stockpile though, so maybe I can climb a few buildings that haven't been explored in the early morning.
But geez, this reminds me of old times, having to scour for food again.

Scouring for food is something I'm used to also. The hunger is unpleasant, but it's familiar enough.

It wasn't a rude question, no worries!!

Are you good at cooking?
no subject
And when I was a street urchin, I had to learn how to cook so I wouldn't go crazy. I reckon it'll be the same here.
What do you like to eat?

Someone has offered to teach how to cook what meager supplies we're able to find here- if you're looking for options. It's rather a practice of mine to not eat something that talks back...
That being said, if you decide that is not your prerogative please do not hunt any of the creatures within the Concert Hall or the Power Plant. Several of us are in open negotiations with them.
no subject
To be honest, I think I was just itching to use my katana in some weird way. I wouldn't actually eat them... Maybe. If it was absolutely necessary, then I would, but seeing that there are supplies here, maybe I could make everyone a nice meal sometime?
No worries, I'll keep that in mind when I'm looking for supplies. If you need me to help with negotiations let me know. I work in the black market, so I can have a silver tongue.
no subject
You are more than welcome to prepare food, or course, although we are all a little scattered- but I am certain the siren song of a good meal will have you meeting a fair amount of the people marooned here.
And I shall keep that in mind. Nao is the person heading the talks with the denizens of the Power Plant. The Princess and I are planning on engaging with Concert Hall on our own first, so as to not appear as a threat and as an act of good faith, however, if we require the aid after the initial interaction I will reach out to you.

I'd suggest talking to Shinjiro. There are some food supplies.
Re: text
but i won't impede if you guys have it handled.
I'll look for this Shinjiro then, and we can talk shop about getting more food supplies. Is there anything in particular you like in terms of food?
text
I suppose I like sweet things. You should prioritize the others though, they need it.
no subject
[That was... one thing that Tsubaki had not considered, but I guess if it came down to that... It still wasn't something that she wanted to do if it could be avoided.]
Well, I suppose if we get desperate enough, it is an option.
[Not having wildlife here did make things difficult.]
I take it you've had a similar experience to this prior.
no subject
... Well. Not really. Demons are kind of different in my world than these demons here. Honestly, the ones I met here are a lot friendlier than the ones back at home. ... I mean, you know, the ones that aren't attacking us.
It seems like we do have food supplies here that I can work with when people want a meal, though. So demons are off the menu!

Maybe Cu Sith and Harpy, but they've been nice to me so I don't know... I kind of feel bad because Cu Sith looks like a pet. But Harpy on the other hand...

[ there are pig demons? duck demons? but rin goes "hm maybe the dog, or the person" and minato is just "oh okay" ]
